Billing and Fees

Referrals

Referrals are not required for private paying clients. You may be eligible to claim part of the cost of your counselling sessions back if you have private health insurance. For details, please contact your insurer.

If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, to be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate, a referral is required in the form of a letter from your doctor. This letter should ask for you to be seen under the plan and confirm details of required treatment.

Payment

There are two methods for payment - credit card and electronic funds transfer. If preferring to pay by EFT, you will be issued with an invoice. For assessment services, a credit card fee may be charged. Please enquire about payment details if this is a concern. Payment is required at the time of the appointment. This is not a bulk billing service. Payment of full fees are required upfront and Medicare and health insurance rebates will be paid back to the client directly.

Cancellations

48 hours' notice is required for cancellations and re-booking of appointments. This allows us the opportunity to offer your appointment time to other clients.

​

Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may attract cancellation fees.
