About me
Hi there. I'm Heather Ikin, Organisational Psychologist and owner of WorkLife Psychology. After working in the field of psychology for 15 years, early in 2022 I established my own private practice to use my knowledge and understanding of workplaces, organisational behaviour, and mental health and wellbeing at work to assist people to improve their working lives.

My clients span many different roles and industries and face a range of different work-related challenges. What they often have in common are high pressured jobs, exposure to a range of work-related stressors, and negative experiences at work that challenge their ability to cope and achieve career aspirations.

I work with clients to identify root causes of issues like stress, burnout, anxiety, and depression, and develop practical strategies to move forward in a constructive way. My focus is on empowering individuals to lead more productive, meaningful, and satisfying working lives.

What I do
I believe everyone has a right to lead a happy, rewarding and successful life - in and outside of work. But I appreciate this isn't always easy and sometimes we need help to realise our potential and cope with the day to day stresses that life throws at us - and that's why I founded WorkLife Psychology.

Through WorkLife Psychology, I provided services to individuals requiring psychological support and also to businesses needing assistance to support employees experience work-related or personal mental health issues.

Like many of my clients, I also have a busy professional life, splitting my time between my own private practice and delivering organisational solutions in the areas of psychosocial safety management and mental health at work.
