Solutions for managers

Seek support to look after your most important asset - your people

Supporting employees with mental health issues and maintaining a mentally healthy workplace can be challenging. In today's fast-paced and high-pressured working environments, managers face many demands and issues that are critical to manage. Responding effectively to mental health issues can have a significant impact on performance, productivity, wellbeing and engagement outcomes.

So, it’s critical to have the competence, confidence, and capacity to support your people effectively.

Managers generally don't have any training or expertise in counselling or psychology, which can make the prospect of supporting employees with mental health issues daunting - whether such concerns are personal or work-related.

WorkLife Psychology's support services are designed to provide specialised and tailored assistance to help managers tackle the trickiest of workplace scenarios.

Ways WorkLife can support you:

Counselling and Coaching Sessions

Establish a safe and confidential space to discuss your concerns and issues in managing others, build knowledge, confidence and skills to address mental health issues at work, and proactively discuss how to manage your own work stress.

Planning and Strategy Meetings

Seek guidance through facilitated and structured sessions, focusing on strategies to support a single worker with a mental health issue, or a team requiring intervention to improve wellbeing, performance and engagement outcomes.

General ongoing advice

Arrangements around formal coaching and counselling sessions can be made to enable ongoing ad-hoc support, such as advice on communicating with employees or progress on next steps between sessions.

Sessions can be delivered via video conference or at your workplace. Note: travel fees may apply.
